Membership

Membership of VOLU is open to anyone who is Fourteen (14) years and above, interested in furthering its purposes and who, by applying for membership, indicate his agreement to become a member and acceptance of the duty of members. A person who agrees to abide by VOLU Constitution shall be entitled to apply to become a member of VOLU. He must undergo orientation and sign VOLU code of conduct.
A person is deemed a member after he has fully paid his or her membership registration fee and membership has been confirmed in writing. Membership is open to all persons both in Ghana and abroad.

Categories of Membership

Junior Members: Persons above the age of fourteen years but under eighteen years of age (J 14-17).

Student Members: Persons of eighteen years of age and above and are undergoing a course of study/apprenticeship in any approved institution in or outside Ghana.

Adult Members: Persons of eighteen years of age and above.

Corporate Membership: Corporate Entities having served VOLU actively, paid their dues regularly for ten years and above; and who opt to form their own local branch for their workers, and upon sponsorships of VOLU programs may be determined by the General Assembly.

Honorary Membership: Persons on whom the General Assembly has conferred such membership for their contribution to the work and development of VOLU.

Life Members: Members on whom the General Assembly has conferred such membership for their long service, dedication, commitment and contribution to the work and development of VOLU.
